This policy explains what personal data the FitTrack mobile app and its backend service ("FitTrack", "we") collect, why, and what control you have over it. Contact: support@fitttrack.com.

What we collect

DataWhy
Account: username, email address, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and, if you allow it, your name from that provider. To create your account and sign you in.
Profile (optional): display name, bio, profile photo link, body weight and height, preferred units (kg/lbs).To show your profile and to display weights in your chosen unit.
Training data: workouts, exercises, sets (weight, reps), routines, personal records, weekly goal. This is the core of the app: logging and analysing your training.
Body measurements (optional): body weight, body fat percentage and body circumferences you choose to log.To show your progress over time.
Social activity: who you follow, likes, comments, groups you join and workouts you choose to share. To run the community features. Workouts are private unless you share them.
Plan and subscription: whether you are on the Basic or Pro plan, and if you subscribe to Pro: the product, store (App Store or Google Play), subscription status, renewal and expiry dates, and subscription event records. We never receive your card or bank details — payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. To unlock Pro features you paid for, handle renewals, cancellations and refunds, and prevent fraud.
Crash and diagnostic data: error reports, device model and OS version, app version, IP address, and your account identifier when an error happens. To find and fix bugs. Processed by our error-monitoring provider, Sentry.

We do not collect your location, contacts or health-platform data, we do not show ads, and we do not sell or rent your personal data.

Who processes it

These providers act on our behalf and may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. For users in Turkey, cross-border transfers under KVKK Article 9 are made on the basis of the safeguards required by law or, where applicable, your explicit consent.

What other users can see

Your username, display name, profile photo and bio are visible to other users. Workouts you choose to share, your comments and likes, and your group memberships are visible to the relevant users. Unshared workouts, body measurements and your email address are never shown to other users.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account and associated training, measurement and social data are deleted from our active systems. Crash reports are kept by Sentry for a limited period under its retention settings. Subscription event records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax obligations, then deleted. Deleting your FitTrack account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.

Your rights and choices

To exercise any right, email support@fitttrack.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and sign-in tokens are stored in your device's secure storage.

Children

FitTrack is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
